Head of Sales | Estonia

Mapon is one of Northern Europe’s leading B2B fleet management and asset-tracking solution providers. We are looking for a dynamic Head of Sales to lead our sales team at Mapon Estonia. In this role, you will drive new business growth, build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve our strategic goals. Additionally, you will oversee the overall operations and development of the Mapon Estonia branch, ensuring alignment with the company’s international strategy and objectives.

Main Tasks:

Country Management Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key representative for Mapon Estonia, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between the local team and the company’s headquarters.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
    • Manage the local budget and ensure the financial health of the branch.
    • Identify growth opportunities in the Estonian market and develop initiatives to expand Mapon’s footprint.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and local partnerships to strengthen Mapon’s presence in Estonia.

    Sales Leadership:

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed targets and KPIs.
    • Set sales quotas, targets, and budgets in alignment with company objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and market insights.

    Client & Partner Relations:

    • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
      • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
      • Lead complex negotiations and close large, enterprise-level deals.

      Requirements:

      • Proven ability to scale and lead sales teams by recruiting, training, and developing top talent while creating scalable processes that support team expansion.
      • Experience managing operations or acting as a country manager, strongly focusing on driving growth and managing local market challenges.
      • Previous experience leading sales teams, preferably within transport and logistics-related fields and/or in the SaaS business, is an advantage.
      • Ability to understand customer needs and align the sales strategy to deliver value, improving customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
      • Expertise in leading complex negotiations and closing large, enterprise-level deals.
      • Familiarity with developing and refining sales processes.
      • Understanding of sales tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRMs.
      • Excellent Estonian and English language skills.
      • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
